Voice for CPaaS and AI voice platforms

Voice agents, IVRs, voicebots and communications platforms need a carrier that behaves like infrastructure: predictable signalling, capacity that grows with your customers, and billing to the second.

Signalling a platform can build on

Early media, SIP REFER for transfers, codec negotiation across G.711, G.729 and Opus, and one stable endpoint that stays put while routing decisions happen behind it.

Capacity that grows with your tenants

Your call-rate and channel allowance is set for the platform, raised as your customers grow, and never shared with another account. Sub-accounts per tenant if you want them.

Reach and identity in every market

218 destinations, local numbers in 96 countries assigned per tenant, and caller ID delivered as you send it, with attestation on calls into the United States and Canada.

Built for programmatic voice

Standard SIP, IP authentication, and behaviour you can rely on when a machine is on the line.

  • Early media and 183 progress passed through, so your agent hears what the network hears
  • SIP REFER for warm and blind transfers out of an agent session
  • Codec negotiation per call: G.711 a-law and u-law, G.729, Opus
  • DTMF as RFC 2833 events, in-band where the far end insists
  • Call records per call, exportable, with sub-accounts per tenant for reporting and limits
# platform account, 3 tenants endpoint sip.callivex.com (active/active) auth IP, per tenant sub-account early media passed through transfers REFER codecs PCMA · PCMU · G729 · opus numbers assigned per tenant, 14 countries records per call, per tenant

Operated like the platform you are building

The things a platform team checks before it puts a carrier in the path.

  • Two active gateways behind one address, per-call re-routing across carriers on faults
  • Maintenance announced in writing seven days ahead, network operations centre 24 hours a day
  • A published service level agreement and data processing agreement under UK GDPR
  • Automatic protection against fraud on every account, blocked-number lists at the trunk
  • Prepaid balance visible in real time, so a runaway agent cannot run away with the budget
Questions

Frequently asked

Can an AI voice agent run on a Callivex trunk?
Yes. Any platform that places and receives calls over standard SIP can use a Callivex trunk. Early media, REFER and codec negotiation are supported, and the settings for your platform are sent when the account opens.
Can we separate our tenants?
Yes. Sub-accounts each carry their own numbers, limits, balance and call records, so each tenant is run, limited and reported on its own.
Do you deliver our caller ID?
Yes. Every route carries your calling number end to end. Calls into the United States and Canada are signed for attestation.
How is capacity handled as we grow?
Your call-rate and channel allowance is set for the platform and raised as your customers grow. Tell us about a launch and it is raised ahead of it.
Which markets can we reach?
218 termination destinations and local numbers in 96 countries. The coverage page lists every country with what is available there.
