Voice for clinics, practices and healthcare providers

Appointment reminders, patient callbacks, out-of-hours lines and inbound switchboards on trunks and numbers built for reliability and for data protection.

Reminders and callbacks that reach patients

Every call shows your practice number, not a withheld or substituted one. Patients recognise it and answer, and missed appointments fall.

Numbers patients already know

Local numbers in the UK and 95 other countries, delivered over SIP to your phone system, answering service or cover provider, and moved between them whenever you need.

Data protection you can show an auditor

A UK company under English law, a published data processing agreement, and no call content stored unless you switch recording on.

Works with the systems practices already run

Standard SIP trunks with the settings for your system sent on day one, so the switch-over is an afternoon, not a project.

  • 3CX, Yeastar, Grandstream and other on-site systems
  • Asterisk and FreePBX for in-house IT teams
  • Hosted PBX and telephony services that accept a SIP trunk
  • Microsoft Teams voice through a certified SBC
  • Appointment-reminder and patient-messaging platforms that place calls over SIP

Built to stay up

A phone line in a practice is a patient-safety matter. The network is designed so that no single carrier or server can take it down.

  • Two active gateways behind one address, so a failure on one is not a failure for you
  • Per-call routing across several carriers, with automatic re-routing on faults
  • Maintenance announced in writing seven days ahead
  • Network operations centre staffed 24 hours a day for live faults
  • A written service level agreement, published on the site
Questions

Frequently asked

Do you sign a data processing agreement?
Yes. Callivex is a UK company and the data processing agreement is published on the site. It covers call records and the personal data involved in routing calls, under UK GDPR.
Are calls recorded?
No. Call content is not recorded or stored unless you ask for recording on your account. Call records hold the numbers, time and duration needed for billing and for your own reporting.
Can our appointment-reminder platform use your trunk?
Yes. Any platform that places calls over standard SIP can use a Callivex trunk, with your practice number as the caller ID so patients recognise the call.
What happens to calls out of hours?
You decide where each number lands: your phone system, an answering service or a cover provider. The destination can be changed whenever you need it.
Which phone systems work with Callivex?
3CX, Yeastar, Grandstream, Asterisk and FreePBX, hosted PBX services and Microsoft Teams through a certified SBC. We send the trunk settings for your system on the day the account opens.
